First day - impact on arrival

Arrival Kallax Airport, Luleå. Transfer travelling north along the coast of Swedish Lapland, passing through pristine forest to the destination Kalix. Torches show the way to the welcome drink, served in a lappish tee-pee with a bright sparkling fire and benches covered in reindeer skins. Already at arrival the very unique atmosphere will surround you. Night safari on dog sleigh Piece and quite will be taken in to our minds when it is time to experience a dog sledge tour in the evening. At a distance you can hear the huskies barking and howling, the dogs are very keen on get going. A quick pull and then you are off... The dog's silence right away and the only sound you can hear are from their paws against the snow and the dogsled driver's commands to the huskies. Possibly you also get to see the beautiful winter sky often lit up by the amazing Aurora Borealis- northern lights, with its beautiful and magic colourings and scribbling. Our safari ends up at Land & Strand, situated on the northernmost coast of the Gulf of Bothnia. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the old timbered farmhouse at Land & Strand with a lovely view over the white frozen desert. Gather in the pub at Hotel Valhall in Kalix city before going to sleep.

Second day - the land of the pineforest...

Snowmobile expedition towards Kukkola Rapids via Lapträsk After being equipped and safety and security info, experienced guides with survival equipment and GPS will bring us on a snowmobile expedition. The safari takes us into Laplands unexplored forest world, in land without roads. If luck, wild animals will cross our path as we venture threw the nature. During outdoor coffee break around campfires, experience absolute silence, except from the howling of the arctic fox. The camp where the lunch is served is situated in the forest and offers an experience that differs a lot from the ordinary. To meet and gather in the beautiful lappish tee-pee is a genuine and traditional experience. After a delicious meal the expedition continues towards our final destination in the most eastern part of Swedish Lapland - Kukkola.

Arrival at Kukkola. Check-in at cabins with 2 pax/cabin Kukkolaforsen Camp is situated on the shore by Tome River and the finnsih border. The Camp is tight on the river in an historic fishing area. People still fish for whitefish using the same type of long-handle nets used in the seventeenth century Guided tour of the sauna culture and practise of the different sauna rituals. After a refreshing bath in the warm, hot tubs the evening ends with a dinner in the relax department in front of the fire. Get in bed to the sound of the rapids in the cabins.

Third day - hot as ice...

After breakfast we prepare for our return transfer to Kalix on the frozen sea, along the coast. Gathering in the morning for a survey and safety instruction before. Departure by snowmobiles on an archipelago-adventure. During the trip we stop for a cup of coffee or warm lingonberry-juice. When we reach Kalix river after being on the white frozen sea it is time to try some icefishing by drilling into the ice and we will see if we have any luck catching some fish. A lunch is served in a teepee on the shore. Then we continue the trip to our mail goal for the day, Kalix. After check in at Hotel Valhall and rewarding relax, the evening ends with a Gala dinner at Filipsborg Mansion. The manison is situated on a hill in the mouth of the Kalix River. This is an old mansion from the 19th century with beautiful surroundings that offer a relaxed and nice environment with a touch of the past. Visit the nightclub with livemusic at the hotel. Fourth day - contemplation after a safe investment

Breakfast at the hotel. Private coach transfer to Kallax airport, Luleå
