First day - impact on arrival

Arrival Kallax Airport, Luleå. In a reserved space at the airport guests will be warmly equipped with outdoor clothes matching the climate of the Subarctics. Torches show the way to the welcome drink, served in a lappish tee-pee with a bright sparkling fire and benches covered in reindeer skins. Already at arrival the very unique atmosphere will surround you. Outside the airport the thrill of driving a snowmobile awaits. Through pine forests and heavy white snow we safely drive forward to the hotel. In the meantime the luggage is transported separately. Enjoy a delicious salmon barbeque for dinner where the chef prepares the fresh salmon in front of the guests. Overnight in mini suite with private sauna at Hotel Nordkalotten.

Second day - motivation and thrill is growing

Camp Ebbenjarka beautifully located only 15 minutes drive from Luleå welcomes you in the morning. We start an extraordinary school of ice driving ending up with an ice rally competition on the frozen lake. Safe and easy with lots of whirling snow and adrenaline. In the tee-pee restaurant lovely food and a warming fire silently come into view after the activities. We gather and enjoy. The day has just started and with a transfer to Piteå we prepare for an experience less ordinary. Watch and listen from the deck the enormous slabs of ice tumble around in the endless ice landscape as we break the icy sea of the Bothnic Gulf. After a break and short walk on the frozen sea, cool down with a snack and a glass of champagne. The chartered icebreaker, which is owned by Pite Havsbad, returns after approximately two hours. The evening ends up at Camp Brändön and the magnificent dinner event "Dinner on Ice". A journey of the senses based around the four elements. Enjoy absolute silence walking the alley of fires on the frozen sea. Observe the tiny cloud of ice crystals, formed by your breath, fade away as entering the heated tepee. A four-course candlelight dinner with lappish song entertainment ends the day with elegance, yet down to earth.

Third day - hot as ice...

A transfer by train will bring us towards Kiruna and the close by Icehotel© in Jukkasjärvi. We will reach the 'top of the world' by passing the mysterious Arctic Circle, traditionally celebrated with a toast and dried reindeer meet. The excitement will get to its point as we pass the entrance to the Icehotel©. Entering the over 3,000 tons of ice and 30,000 cubic metres of snow, the guide will bring us through to the Absolute Ice Bar for a drink very special, served in chunky ice glasses. An adventurous ride will be taken in to our minds when it is time to experience a dog sledge tour in the evening. At a distance you can hear the huskies barking and howling, the dogs are very keen on get going. A quick pull and then you are off... The dog's silence right away and the only sound you can hear are from their paws against the snow and the dogsled driver's commands to the huskies. Possibly you also get to see the beautiful winter sky often lit up by the amazing Aurora Borealis- northern lights, with its beautiful and magic colourings and scribbling. After a rewarding sauna, a grand dinner will be delightfully served in the Jukkasjärvi Inn. Overnight in Icehotel© or in the nearby Aurora houses.

Fourth day - contemplation after a safe investment

Personal wake up call with a hot drink. Transfer to Kiruna Airport for flight to Stockholm Arlanda.
